One menu item making a welcome return is the Yule Log Cake, featuring Elevate’s signature Salted Caramel Buttercream combined with chocolate couverture frosting. It’s a sin to make fun of it – as every Christmas dessert should be. Sparkling Macaroons are also joining the party this year in two flavors: Red Velvet and Chocolate Mint. They come in the form of a tower of Christmas macaroons, or alternatively, a crown of macaroons. Want a cake that will be an eye-catcher wherever you bring it? Christmas Nutella Stacked Brownies catch the eye of Yuletide, 36 brownies stacked to form a tower 20cm high. Chef Chan also prepares Christmas Black Forest Bites, which includes a classic 36-bite cake topped with streusel and his family’s heirloom chocolate cake.
Christmas Black Forest Bites are part of the Christmas Celebration and Macaron Christmas Tower and Christmas Stacked Nutella Brownies.
The set is small but it will also be a Holly Jolly gift, with a yule tree cake and a macaron hat.
For a quick and easy treat, the Christmas Designer Cupcakes are perfect for the job, a box of 12 different ones like Pandan Gula Melaka, Salted Caramel Chocolate, Caramel Cookies and Lemon Poppyseed. Speaking to FMT, Chan revealed that the bakery is struggling, but is ready to make sure every Christmas recipe is perfect.
He said, “Things are more difficult this year. “But at the end of the day, our joy comes from seeing our customers smile and have fun.”
With plans for national delivery and halal certification on the horizon, December promises to be a busy month for Chan.
